At VCI , career progression takes four, successive steps:
- 1. Analysts - This is the starting point for most consultants. Analyst support consultants on project teams by conducting rigorous analysis, developing solutions, and performing various ad-hoc tasks. After 2-3 years of supporting project teams, an Analyst typically develop deep technical expertise in several key analytical approaches and tools.
- 2. Consultants - Consultants make up the majority of VCI staff. As contributing members of project teams, consultants analyze data, communicate findings, formulate solutions, and conduct training. More senior consultants may lead smaller projects and teams.
- 3. Engagement Leaders - Engagement Leaders act as the “go-to persons” for both VCI and client teams. They work with Partners in maintaining strong relationships with clients and develop new business opportunities.
- 4. Partners - As an owner of the firm, Partners lead major engagements, maintain client relationships, develop new services, mentor staff, and partake in strategic decision making.
