What Makes Us Unique Our firm is unlike any other management consulting company. We are unique in five distinct ways:   Facts All our engagements are based on rigorous research of facts, not intuition. We use statistics, numerical models, and simulations to uncover root causes to the problem at hand.   Line management experience Most consulting companies hire their staff directly from business schools. Although academically astute, their staff lacks insight and know-how that comes only through years of line management experience. The principals of our firm have personally led operations, R&D, marketing, and other departments at large multi-national companies. They know what it takes to implement major change initiatives.   Servicing At most consulting companies, the primary focus of partners, the most experienced consultants, is selling their services, not consulting for the client. This is because of their high staff-to-partner ratio. Our low staff-to-partner ratio allows the most experienced consultants to devote most of their effort on serving, not selling.   Implementation Most management consulting companies make recommendations and leave implementation to the client. We are implementation consultants. We work with the client team side-by-side to ensure the initiative is properly implemented and under control before disengaging.   Results Professional service firms make money by billing the client for their efforts. They get paid by the hour. They take no stake in the game. The firms gets paid regardless of the outcome of the initiative. Our firm takes a different approach. Our paycheck is based less on effort and more on results.
